Lunch and Learn with Heart of the City

With over 12 billion working days lost every year globally to depression and anxiety (at a cost of US$ 1 trillion per year according to the World Health Organization), creating psychologically safe working environments is one of the biggest challenges organisations faced by business leaders today. So how do we overcome these challenges, and remove the stigma around Mental Health at work?

Join Heart of the City for their  free Lunch and Learn session with Bethan Lucy Aspland, 'This is Me' Programme Manager for the The Lord Mayor's Appeal on reducing workplace stress and enhancing team wellbeing.

This online session will be held on 16th April, 12:00pm - 12:45pm, and provides an introduction to overcoming stress in the workplace, leaving you with practical actions to help your team manage stress and cultivate a more supportive working environment.  To register, please click here.

Go and see Karen!

CWN members have been offered the chance to see a one woman show that is making its London debut at The Other Palace after transferring from a sold out run in Birmingham and being named one of the “Top 10 Shows to See at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023”. The show is called "Karen". Get ready for a comic emotional roller-coaster as the Protagonist is dumped on her 30th birthday at Alton Towers by her long term boyfriend, Joe. Things go from bad to worse when it is revealed that Joe has been having an affair with her arch nemesis: Karen. And the cherry on top? They all work in the same office together.

The play has been written by Sarah Cameron-West, who has written and produced the show, as well as starring in it. If you are interested in attending, we have been given an exclusive discount code. Please email Robyn to find out more.
